WordBoard is not a fixed grid of keys. You can make buttons bigger or smaller, put your most-used keys at the top, remove the ones you never tap, and group everything into folders. Here is how each of those settings actually works.
Go to the More tab in WordBoard to change how many rows of buttons show on screen: fewer rows means bigger buttons, more rows means smaller buttons and more keys visible at once. To reorder keys, tap Edit in the top right, drag keys into place with the grabbers, then tap Done. To delete a key, either use that same reorder view and tap the minus icon, or swipe on a key and choose delete. Folders keep different sets of keys separate so you are not scrolling through everything at once.
WordBoard shows 3 rows of buttons by default. That is a balance between button size and how many keys fit on screen, but it is not the only option.
There is no single correct setting. A folder of a handful of canned replies works well as 2 large rows. A folder full of emoji or kaomoji favorites usually works better dense, at 4 or 5 rows.
Keys do not have to stay in the order you created them. To rearrange a folder:
Put your most-used keys near the top of each folder so they are reachable without scrolling, especially in folders you open several times a day. Reordering is a Pro feature and is not available on the free 6-key version.
There are two ways to remove a key you no longer need:
Both remove the key immediately, so it is worth pruning folders occasionally rather than letting outdated snippets pile up.
Folders keep unrelated keys apart, for example a Sales folder, a Support folder, and a Kaomoji folder, instead of one long scrolling list. Create a new folder from the main screen and move keys into it to keep each set focused on one job. Combined with row count and ordering, folders are what make a large key library still fast to use: dense rows for a big reference folder, larger rows and a tidy order for the handful of replies you use every day.
