Create WordBoard keys without leaving your keyboard
Most keyboard apps make you stop, switch to the main app, and come back before you can save something new. WordBoard's keyboard has its own quick add button, so you can turn clipboard content or selected text into a key without ever leaving the app you are typing in.

Quick answer
Yes. Switch to the WordBoard keyboard, tap the + button in the bottom left, and choose to create a new key from your clipboard or from text you have selected in the current app. You can also use the same + button to open the full WordBoard app, all without switching keyboards or apps first. Full Access needs to be enabled for the keyboard to do this.
How to create a key from the keyboard
This works from inside any app that shows the iOS keyboard, such as Messages, Mail, Notes, or a CRM.
Make sure WordBoard is installed and Full Access is enabled in Settings, General, Keyboard, Keyboards.
Switch to the WordBoard keyboard with the globe key.
Tap the + button in the bottom left of the keyboard.
Choose to create a key from your clipboard, or from text you have selected in the field you are typing in.
Give the new key a short label and save it. It is immediately available to tap from the keyboard.
There is no need to open the WordBoard app first, find the right folder, and paste the text in manually. The key is created from wherever you already are.
When this saves the most time
Someone sends you an address or reference number. Select it in Messages or Mail and save it as a key on the spot, instead of copying it somewhere and forgetting about it.
You just copied something worth reusing. If you copy a phrase, link, or reply from Notes or a browser, save it straight from the clipboard the moment you switch to WordBoard.
You are mid-conversation and do not want to break flow. Creating a key from the keyboard means you never leave the message you are writing to go set it up in the app.
How to open the WordBoard app from the keyboard
The same + button can also jump you straight into the full app when you want to do more than a quick save, such as organising folders or editing labels.
Tap the + button on the WordBoard keyboard.
Choose Open App.
Make your changes, then switch back to the keyboard with the globe key when you are ready to keep typing.
Quick add vs building a key in the app
Both ways of creating a key end up in the same place. The one you reach for depends on what you are saving.
